cheer up all!
i want to spend my free time to share my unforgettable experience when i went to my 1st TESL interview..thinking of i need to meet a lot more great & intelligent people in d interview..i got a little bit scared..
first i need to answer some INSAK questions...its easy but a little bit confusing..i hv some TIPS to answer d questions... PRETEND TO BE U R A TEACHER! WHEN IT COMES TO STUDENT (any question bout students) MAKE SURE U TREAT STUDENTS NICELY..NO PUNISHMENT! NO HURTING THE STUDENTS!!!! its a CRIME! okeyh!
ok..then..the difficult part...GROUP INTERVIEW..here's some tips for dis part..u should be active n try to work as a group member...BE D 1ST PERSON WHO START D DISCUSSION!..u will got extra marks..plz dun be so nervous..others will not eat U!!remmember DON'T PROVOKE OTHERS OR ANNOY THEM!...dis attitude will make u look like a rude person.
DON'T BE TO COMPETITIVE! plz also give others chance to speak!dun b selfish...or u will been mark as SELFISH N RUDE!
>>>in my interview..i wasn't d 1st person who started d conversation...i'm very regret for it..i'm juz too nervous dat time..huhu..but i try my best to be the person who CONCLUDE d conversation at last minute..i hope dat will give me extra marks..
after 30 mins waiting..finally my turn for d invidual interview..i thought it must be very difficult...but luckily..its easier than the group interview!believe me..its A LOT MORE EASIER..juz be CONFIDENCE..i hv been asked with some question:
1) explain about urself
2)where do u live?
3)do u read?
4)what u understand bout 1malaysia?
5) can u sing?
6) do u luv kids
n lots more...i also talk bout faceboOk n CLEO magazine in d interview room..weird??haha...but they just want to see u talk..so just talk n be URSELF! plz DON'T LIE! OR U WILL LOOK STUPID WHEN U GET TONGUE-TIED!
>>my bestfriend..NAZHATUL..she need to sing a CELINE DION's song in d interview..haha..she glad that she knew some of celine's songs..hahaha...
not just that..there's some people need to dance india' style..n also speak in other language..like chinese..haha..but dun be scared..juz try ur best..if u dun know how to do it..juz be honest with them..n tell them wat u r special in..maybe ACTING..or..MAKE JOKES..huhu

>>better tied up ur hair..so u will look neat..n if u coloured ur hair..better wear scarf...huhu..n make sure u wear a black shoes with a thin heels...!
>>handbag is not necessary..but if u want to bring it..juz make sure it small n simple.
